A Bit About Me
LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST
Hello! I’m Bethsy Amador
I am a bilingual (English / Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Benedictine University. My years of clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults within the education, agency and private practice settings. I created Rising Light Counseling with a vision to provide caring counseling and psychotherapy services for children, individuals, couples and families experiencing challenges with neurodevelopment conditions (e.g., autism / ASD, ADHD), anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and abuse. I believe therapy is a place to grow and to heal from circumstances in our lives that do not allow us to live up to our true potential.
I am now licensed, and seeing clients, in the states of Arizona and Iowa.
Our Mission
Through our empathic and individualized counseling approach, we are on a mission to restore hope and purpose to our clients so they can live the life they are meant to live and consequently positively affect the world around them.
